The next episode of The Grand Tour Presents has had an update. The streaming service has confirmed that the next special in the Amazon Prime car series – filmed in Scotland at the end of 2020 – will be released later in 2021.
The Grand Tour Presents has managed one feature film episode per year for the past two years, with the Seamen special out in December 2019 and the A Massive Hunt Madagascar special out in December 2020. “Later This Year” suggests you might want to. have a little wait on your hands for this one too.
Here’s the Twitter update on The Grand Tour that Amazon just posted:

The Scotland special of the fourth series was filmed in the midst of the pandemic, with the entire cast and crew isolating themselves for the special to happen. The hosts were seen on set driving classic American cars, giving a sense of the theme of the unnamed stage.
You can stream every episode of The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime Video.
Better late than never
While the wait is undoubtedly disappointing for fans of hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond and their inventive vehicle antics, the alternative couldn’t have been a new episode for a very, very long time.
The Scotland special was designed after plans to create a new special in Russia were put into limbo in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak. Fans will likely agree that it’s better for the hosts to look a little lower in terms of location if that helps them get the episodes out faster.
