AT&T customers are on the verge of losing a big advantage

Thanks to California’s recently passed net neutrality laws, AT&T will no longer allow its customers to stream HBO Max without counting towards their data cap. This means that if you have an Internet data plan with AT&T, you are about to lose one of the biggest benefits.

Even if you live in a different state, the change will still affect you. In a blog post, AT&T said the change would affect subscribers both inside and outside California because “the internet does not recognize state borders.”
