Update: More and more Microsoft services are down if the outage continues. We will update this page if we get any answers or if the company fixes their software.
Xbox Live and Microsoft Teams are currently down with a major outage in Microsoft services, according to several official Microsoft status pages – and the fact that we cannot connect to certain services at this time on our Xbox Series X. The Online gambling service has been down for approximately 6 p.m. EDT / 3 p.m. PDT.
In addition to the Game Pass and Party Chat shutdown, we are now seeing an outage of Microsoft Store, subscriptions, multiplayer games, and cloud games, all of which are listed as major outages on the Xbox status page. Microsoft Live.
“You may not be able to sign in to your Xbox profile,” reads the official Xbox status page, which admits the Xbox Live outage. “You may be logged out when signing in or have other related issues. Features that require signing in like most games, apps and social activities will not be available.”
It looks like other Microsoft services are also down at the moment, including Microsoft Teams, Azure, Minecraft, and Office 365, making the outage pretty widespread for the company. We will continue to update this page as the latest news develops.
We are contacting Microsoft to find out when Xbox Live will be fixed.
