In Chandigarh, two women dragged a dog tied to a scooty, the police arrested

Chandigarh. In the New Century Enclave of Patiala, Punjab, two women have shamed humanity. Both the women dragged a childless dog to a long distance by tying it to a scooty. In this case, two women named Chanchal and Sonia were arrested by the police. However, he was later released on bail. The police had registered a case on the complaint of an NGO worker Sushma Singh Rathore.

The complainant said that on June 20, at around 6.15 pm, he had received information that two unidentified women were dragging a dog tied with a rope to the back of their scooty near New Century Enclave. When the complainant reached the spot along with her accomplices and started stopping both the women, in the meantime seeing the gathering of people, the accused women had escaped from the spot by opening the dog rope. The dog died during treatment. The police had registered a case against both the women under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act after the CCTV footage surfaced.

Let us inform that in the month of May, in Patiala of Punjab itself, a person was arrested for shooting a dog with a rifle. The incident took place in Duttal village. In this regard, a complaint was received from PETA, the video of the incident was also shared with the police. The accused was identified as Taranjot Singh, a resident of Khaspur village of Patran tehsil. A rifle and two shells were recovered from Singh. The accused had told the police that he was a mad dog and had earlier bitten another dog.
