New Delhi . President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed new governors in 8 states amid the flurry of expansion of the Modi cabinet. Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel has been appointed as the Governor of Madhya Pradesh. Dalit leader and Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot has been appointed as the Governor of Karnataka.
Apart from this, Hari Babu Kambhampati has been made the Governor of Mizoram. Rajendran Vishwanath Arlekar has been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. PS Sreedharan Pillai has been made the Governor of Goa. Satyadev Narayan Arya has been made the Governor of Tripura and Ramesh Bais has been made the Governor of Jharkhand. Apart from this, Bandaru Dattatreya has been appointed as the Governor of Haryana.
These new faces will be entered in Modi cabinet
There can be a big reshuffle in Modi government today or tomorrow. This is the first cabinet expansion of Modi Sarkar 2.0. According to sources, this time around 20 new faces can get a place in the Modi cabinet. While some people can be shown the way out from the current cabinet. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left the Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, may get a place in the Modi cabinet. Senior leader Narayan Rane has also been called to New Delhi. According to the information, a call has reached to Narayan Rane from the office of party president JP Nadda. Apart from this, former Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal is also reaching Delhi.
It is reported from sources that in addition to BJP MP Shantanu Thakur from West Bengal, former Deputy CM of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi, RCP Singh of JDU, Pashupati Paras from Lok Janshakti Party (Paras faction). 20 new faces including Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal, Praveen Nishad from Nishad Party can be included in the cabinet.
