CM gave instructions during law and order review

Bhopal. Expressing displeasure over the increasing criminal incidents in the state, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that strict action should be taken against those who violate the law. He is going to hold Collector, Commissioner, SP-IG conference again from next month and will do a thorough review of every aspect. For this agenda will be sent to the districts. In the law and order review meeting with the officials in the ministry, the CM gave instructions for speedy action in the case of serious crimes.
The superintendents of police were asked to enforce law and order and take strict action in the case of illegal mining. Meanwhile, after many cases of incidents of misconduct with girls came to light, CM Chouhan has called a meeting of officials of Home Department and PHQ on Tuesday regarding law and order. All the Divisional Commissioners, IGs, Collectors, SPs virtually participated in this. CM Chouhan instructed the officers to take strict action in such cases and not to disturb the common man.

After the cabinet, CM Shivraj had a meeting with the ministerial officers. Principal Secretaries of all the departments, Secretaries, Heads of Departments were also present in this. The strict attitude of the CM was visible in the meeting. He told the officials that the common man should get the benefits of the government’s schemes. Inaction will not be tolerated. If the eligible person does not get the benefit of the scheme, then the officials will be responsible for it. The CM clearly said that the ministers should hold a meeting of their department on Monday. If there is a need for coordination on any subject with the Government of India, then definitely tell me or the Chief Secretary. Work on the plan by meeting our officers with the departmental officers of the Government of India. Unnecessary expenses should be reduced. Transfer in time frame with administrative base, humane approach and transparency. The officers should follow the instructions that come from the NITI Aayog, Planning Commission.

After this, the CM held a meeting to review the law and order situation. In this, all the collectors, SPs, IG commissioners are connected through video conferencing. In the meeting, the CM expressed displeasure over the crime against the daughters. He said that crimes against daughters are unforgivable. Whether the culprit is of home or family, strict action is needed. Simply putting them in jail is not the solution. Such strict action should be taken that no one dares to commit such a crime again. The criminals should be disposed of. Launch the campaign again for this. In any event, inform the Home Minister and the DGP immediately. The CM said that if an incident is happening somewhere, then the officers are responsible for it. It is your duty to take strict action on the ground. Work in coordination with the Mineral Forest Revenue Police in illegal mining. Strict action should be taken if illegal mining takes place. Strictly tell the police officers that the PHQ should ensure that information and action is taken about the incident and the facts are brought to the fore.
