11th and 12th classes will start from 26th July and 9th and 10th from 5th August
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that classes and hostels of class 11th and 12th will be started in schools from July 26, ensuring strict adherence to COVID friendly behavior. Classes of class 9th and 10th will be started from August 5.
The Chief Minister said that all schools will start with 50 percent attendance. Students will be able to come to school 2 days a week in the month of July and 4 days a week in the month of August. The Crisis Management Group will be able to decide according to local conditions regarding the opening of classes. Separate SOP is being issued to adopt Kovid-19 friendly behavior in schools and hostels.
He was reviewing the works of the Department of School Education and Higher Education in Mantralaya. Minister of State for School Education Inder Singh Parmar, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Higher Education Anupam Rajan, Commissioner Public Education Smt. Jai Kiawat etc. were present in the meeting.
Coaching centers for class 12th will open from August 5
The Chief Minister said that coaching centers for class 12th will be opened with 50 percent capacity from August 5. Continuous monitoring will be done by Crisis Management Group and local administration. All coaching centers will be required to follow the COVID-19 guide line.
New education session in colleges from September 1
The new academic session will start from September 1 in the colleges of the state. Presently the examinations are being conducted through open book method. According to local conditions, offline classes will be conducted in colleges with 50 percent capacity.
The Chief Minister directed that all the teachers and employees of schools and colleges should be given 100 percent vaccination by running a campaign. With this, more and more students should be vaccinated. For sending students to classes, the consent of their parents will be necessary.
