A JDU leader says that a meeting of senior party leaders has been held in New Delhi on Monday to strengthen the organization in Jharkhand and hand over the command of the party to a new leader. Bihar’s Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav will reach Ranchi on September 18 on his two-day visit to Jharkhand in this regard. During this, he will also talk to the party leaders on strengthening the party in the state. Tejashwi will participate in the program organized by the party on 19 September. The party’s Jharkhand state president Abhay Singh says that a target has been set to make 10 lakh people members on this occasion. He said that Tejashwi Yadav will be welcomed in the traditional way in the capital Ranchi.
It is noteworthy that the performance of RJD in the last assembly elections was not as expected in Jharkhand. Since then, the RJD has been trying to strengthen its roots in the neighboring state. In the last assembly elections, RJD had entered the election fray in alliance with Congress and JMM, in which it got success in one seat. The lone RJD MLA was inducted into the cabinet.
