Co-producer and producer John Hurwitz has announced that the shooting of the fifth season of the popular show Cobra Kai is over.

The news comes just days before the premiere of the fourth season of the martial arts comedy drama on Netflix on December 31st.

Harvitz shared a selfie on Twitter on Sunday and captioned it: “Five. Finn. #ByeAtlanta #CobraKai”.

Cobra Kai is a spin-off series linked to the karate kid film franchise that follows the competitive world of martial arts in Southern California, starring Ralph Machio and William Sabka.

The story of Johnny Lawrence (Sabka)’s Cobra Karate Dojo reopening and resuming old feud with Daniel Larusso (Machio) takes place 34 years later.

The cast of the show also revolves around Courtney Hengeler, Solo Mariduna, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mausser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Dicenso, Martin Cove, Vanessa Rubio and Peyton List.

The series was co-produced by Josh Heald, Harwitz and Hayden Schlosberg.

Cobra renewed its hand for the fifth season in August.
