Spider-Man: No Way Home smashes Indian box office in four days. After Akshay Kumar’s Suryavanshi and Rajinikanth’s Anne, he entered the 100 crore club in four days. Marvel Blockbuster hit the global box office with $ 587.2 million in its first weekend. After Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, it became the third largest debut in the world for Marvel fans.

The film, starring Tom Holland and Sendaya, shattered the post-epidemic and pre-Omicron era. Given that many cinema halls in India are not yet operating at full capacity, the numbers indicate the loyalty of Marvel fans. Kovid fear still exists, so the combination of such attraction is remarkable. Spider-Man grossed Rs 30 crore at the Indian box office on Sunday and as the working days are yet to come, trade experts expect it to cross Rs 150 crore before the release of Ranveer Singh’s 83 on Friday, December 24.

The film holds the all-time record for the largest number of debuts. It joined the $ 1.2 billion Avengers: Endgame and the $ 640 million Avengers: Infinity War League. However, both films premiered in China (known for being the biggest contributors to the box office collection) and the release of Spiderman is still awaited.

Interestingly, if it had opened in China at the same time, Holland would have made his film second. Seeing the success of the film, Spider-Man may have planned to give a grand welcome to the movie lovers in China.

Spider-Man: No Way Home grossed $ 253 million in its first weekend in the USA alone. According to Variety, Sony with Marvel spent $ 200 million to produce the film and $ 100 million to market the film worldwide.

Spider-Man: No Way Home made its fourth-largest market in Western Europe, particularly in the UK, with $ 41.4 million. France, Italy, Germany and Spain also had good openings. Russia leads Western Europe with $ 17.4 million.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has opened up hugely even in the Asian market. While South Korea earned $ 23.7 million, India also contributed $ 18.2 million over the opening weekend.
