Sendaya recalls feeling like Tom Holland’s parents on his first day of shooting for Spider-Man: No Way Home. In a recent interview, Sendaya, who co-starred with Tom in the latest Marvel movie, said that she was ‘stressed’ because her co-star was ‘under pressure’.
She recalls that Jacob Battalion, who plays Tom’s best friend Ned in the movie, and herself felt like Tom’s parents dropped him off at the ‘first day of kindergarten’ on the shoot.
In an interview with Marvel.com, Zendaya told Tom, “That first day, I was terrified of you.” To which he replied, “Yes, I was under pressure.” She added, “We had to do a rehearsal, and Jacob (Battalion) and I felt like your parents,” Tom then asked, “Are you leaving me at school?” The Hindustan Times reported.
“Like leaving you in kindergarten the first day. ‘I hope the other kids like him.’ I hope he does not come back crying, so we were there and I was taking your photos so you can get it. It was so beautiful, “she added.
“You have some amazing pictures of us,” Tom responded.
