Nora Fatehi tested positive on Kovid-19, 'It affected me badly'

Actor and dancer Nora Fatehi said on Thursday that she is positive about Kovid-19 and is on quarantine.

The 29-year-old actor said he was “really” infected with the virus and had been in bed for a few days.

“Hey guys, unfortunately I’m fighting Kovid now. It’s really affected me! I’m been in bed (sic) for a few days under the supervision of a doctor,” she posted on her Instagram story.

Fateh, who starred in films like Bhuj: The Pride of India and Street Dancer 3D, appealed to his fans and followers to be safe and wear masks.

“Please be safe, friends, wear your mask, it will spread quickly and affect everyone differently! Unfortunately I reacted badly to this, it could happen to anyone. Please pay attention! I’m trying to recover now, that’s important now. There is nothing more important than your health! Be careful, be safe (sic) They added.

A Fateh spokesman said the actor had tested positive two days ago and was collaborating with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials.

The spokesperson also said that the outdoor pictures of the actor circulating on social media are old as she did not go out after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

“The sporting images that have been circulating since yesterday are from past events, and Nora has not been down anywhere recently, so we urge you to ignore the old images,” she explained.

Fateh last acted in John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2, which was released in theaters on November 25.

On Wednesday, 2,510 COVID-19 cases were reported in Mumbai, the highest daily addition since May 8, with one death at 7,75,808 and the number at 16,375.

After 283 cases were reported on December 20, the country’s financial capital showed a surge.

In the wake of the introduction of the new Omicron variant of Kovid-19, Mumbai Police has banned New Year celebrations and gatherings in closed or open spaces, including hotels and restaurants.
