Mumbai: The producers of her TV show on Thursday said that actor Sulagna Panigrahik is Kovid-19 positive and is currently on quarantine.

The 34-year-old actor, who starred in Star Plus’ Traitor, went into isolation after he began to show symptoms, according to producers Subrat Sinha and Bodhisattva Gatha Films, LLP.

Following Panigrahi’s diagnosis, the show’s team examined the entire cast and crew. “Actress Sulagna Panigrahi, an integral part of the TV show The Traitor, tested positive for Kovid – 19. As soon as she was diagnosed with the disease, she received medical attention and quarantined herself. Immediately, the entire cast and crew were isolated and tested. , The artist receives medical attention, and the home is on quarantine and we are in constant contact with the entire team as their health is our priority, ”the producers said in a statement.

Recently, traitor actor Sharad Malhotra was also infected with the virus. The 38-year-old actor tested positive on January 5 and then fumigated the shooting location of the show. On Thursday, Malhotra announced that he had recovered from Kovid-19. “We’re back, not positive, but with tons of positivity #letsgetthispartystarted #virusfree,” he wrote on Instagram.
