Actress Kajal Agarwal on Wednesday wrote a lengthy post on social media for pregnant women who are experiencing body changes after being embarrassed. Agarwal, who is expecting her first child with entrepreneur-husband Gautam Kichlu, shared a picture of her baby on Twitter with a message. The 36-year-old actor wrote that if the “self-absorbed idiots” who troll women in the name of their pregnant bodies could not show mercy, they would “live and let live”. “I deal with the most amazing new developments in my life, my body, my home, and most importantly my workplace. Also, some comments / body shaming messages / memes really do not help. We can learn to be kind. If it’s too hard, maybe, live, live. Let go! “Here are some of my thoughts for all those who are going through similar life situations and for all those who need to read this, of course you should read this,” she wrote.
The actress said that during pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through many changes, including “gaining weight” and how they transform.
In addition to hormonal fluctuations, women may experience more fatigue than usual, “mood swings”, and it may take some time to return to the “we were before,” Agarwal said.
“Or it will never go back to the way we saw it before pregnancy. That’s right. These changes are natural, as we struggle to cope with all the new additions to our lives (especially the expectations of our little ones.).
“We do not have to feel abnormal, we do not have to fit in a box or a stereotype, we do not have to feel uncomfortable or stressed at the most beautiful, wonderful and precious moment of our lives,” she added.
Agarwal, who has acted in Telugu blockbusters like Darling, Businessman and Temper and Hindi films like Singam, Special 26 and Mumbai Saga, got married to Kichlu in 2020.
