Kareena Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor commemorate Rajiv Kapoor's first death anniversary

Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma KapoorAnd Neetu Kapoor The actor and director recalled on Wednesday Rajiv Kapoor On his first death anniversary. Ram Teri Ganga Mile, son of renowned filmmaker Raj Kapoor, died of a heart attack at the age of 58 last year. Karisma and Kareena took to Instagram stories to commemorate their late uncle.

Rajeev was the youngest of three brothers and two sisters, Randhir, Rishi, Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain. Karisma, 47, shared a picture of Raj Kapoor with his three sons Randhir, Rishi and Rajeev. “Chimpu Uncle, I missed you,” she wrote. Kareena posted the same picture with her heart emoticon.

Neetu also shared a picture of Rajeev and Rishi who passed away in April 2020 on Instagram.

“You miss both of you. It’s already been a year,” the 63-year-old wrote.

Actor Armaan Jain, Rima Jain’s eldest son, shared a picture of him kissing Rajeev and wrote, “We miss you, we love you the most, Chimpu Mama”.

Rajeev made his acting debut in the 1985 blockbuster Ram Teri Ganga Mile, which was Raj Kapoor’s last directorial venture.

He last appeared on the screen in 1990 with Simmedar, after starring in Osman, Lover Boy and Hum To Chale Pardes. He made his directorial debut in 1996 with the play “Prem Granth” starring Rishi and Madhuri Dixit.

Rajeev was all set to return to the screen with the sports drama Tulsidas Jr. starring Sanjay Dutt.
