Sonu Sood He is better known as a Samaritan than an actor. In his latest contribution to the community, the actor demanded 50 liver transplant surgeries worth Rs 12 crore as a promotion fee for a hospital. In an interview with The Man magazine, Sood revealed how he was able to “connect the right dots” by meeting the right people to help him in his human endeavors.
“I’ll give you a small example: a gentleman named Wilson from Astor Hospital contacted me on a trip to Dubai recently and told me that the group would like to help me with their medical needs. Crores of rupees, ”he said.
He added that transplants were underway. “As we speak, there are two transplants for people who can never afford these surgeries. That’s the magic of connecting the right dots. How people can come to you and help us, we’ll find a way,” he said. Said.
Talking about his charitable activities, the actor said that all the funds go to charitable activities. “Sometimes they give it directly to a school or hospital, sometimes they run it through our charity – we’re ready for anything.”
The actor’s efforts to help the public were first noticed during the first wave of the corona virus pandemic. After the government imposed a strict lockdown across the country, Sood helped bring many workers back to their homes, which led to the exodus of workers, many of whom had to travel on foot. He is also credited with initiating medical aid.
The actor had helped in the safe repatriation of Indian students who were recently stranded in Ukraine.
