Directed by Divyang Thackeray, the film is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

Singh had earlier said that the film aims to tackle serious issues like female infanticide and domestic violence but the presentation is humorous.

“We hope that Divyang’s communication with you on these issues will reach you through all the laughter and entertainment. The film will give you something, a message. We hope you will make a film with relevant social issues. It resonates with you in an interesting way,” Singh said.
